Less Conservatives Believe in Science

Surprise Surprise, the party that doesn’t believe in global warming, evolution, or healthcare doesn’t have a very high opinion of science. A Study conducted at UNC says that since 1974 the number of conservatives who have “a great deal of trust in science” fell to just 35%. That is a 28% decline from 1974 when 48% of both liberals and conservatives had “a great deal of trust in science”. Support for science among liberals has remained relatively unchanged in the past 25 years.

What is driving this crusade against reason? There are a number of factors. The rise of the more extreme, evangelical wing of the party has made the teaching of evolution a hot button issue. Evolution is a scientific fact supported by 99% of scientists. Anyone who says otherwise is, well, dumb.

There is also the pervasive belief among conservatives that institutes of higher education are liberal indoctrination centers. Though the majority of people in academia are liberal, there is little evidence that any “indoctrination” goes on.

Lastly, the Republican Party went from not wanting to talk about global warming to straight up denying it. Good news for oils companies. Again, 99% of scientists believe in manmade global warming.

What does this mean for America? Considering other countries are outpacing us educationally in science, math and engineering it’s not good.

JOB chapter 40 & 41. well there is 2 types of SCIENTIST, Evolutionist & Creationist…& according to the creation scientist, most dinosuars was washed away during flood of noah,(land dinos) & the flying dinosuars was killed off during the viking era & dark ages. the archeology evidence proves that vikings killed dragons & placed their heads on the end of the ship for show! & theirs numerous fossils & Castles that was found w/ paintings & engravings of Humans/knights slaying dinosuars. so dont believe everything u read in the School text book.the word dinosuar was first used in the 1800′s.. before dinosuars was called dinosuars, the world called them dragons. the hebrews & samaritans called them dragons. but we downplay the word dragon as if its a mystical creature. evolution is a load of lies, nothing scientific about evolution. the fossil record is based off assumptions & ideas. there is more hard facts that backs up creation science….. people discover dinosuar bones w/ red blood cells in them, & if a fossil have red blood cells, it cant be millions of years old. GOOGLE dinosuar fossils w/ red blood cells & u’ll see.Im not saying Dinosuars is walking the earth(Jurassic Park) lol…I was saying that they Co-existed w/ humans. before the flood of Noah. and then the rest was killed off through out time.
