iLove – I Really Do
29 Jul
As I sleepily boarded the train this morning, something hurtful and offensive smacked me right in the face.  Not a hobo’s hand or 7-foot man’s backpack, but the word “iSnob” written on the front page of a free local newspaper.    Because it would have been presumably rude and ill-mannered to grab the paper away from the 70 year-old woman covered in what was either baby powder or confectioner’s sugar, I wasn’t able to read the actual article.  Later I found out the article detailed results of a Facebook survey where approximately 20,000 individuals were asked how they felt about iPad users.  Well, apparently 90% chose “iSnob”.  I know…haters gonna hate, haters gonna hate.
Despite the fact that there is an overwhelming presence of the color white at my desk (the only one might I add) I am still proud to be an Apple user and in no way shape or form do I consider myself an iSnob.  Therefore, the sole purpose of this blog post is to defend the way I live technologically.  Here are a few points I’d like to share:
- Apple products are aesthetically pleasing
- My iPad eliminates excessive weight from books when I travel AND it allows me to continue blogging for all you fine people out there
- I do not insult Windows or PC’s and yes, I have heard of other brands like Samsung, Dell, HP (Harry Potter?  What?)
- Photobooth (a Mac application) allows me to appear on the moon or beside a beluga whale wearing a Santa hat in a photo
- I have and always will be a great appreciator of the simplicity of Apple products in both usage and design
In conclusion, I’ll continue to purchase and use what I prefer and so will you.  And if you happen to be a satisfied Apple user, leave a comment and we’ll iChat sometime.

What is forbidden is always wanted…so…don’t forget the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden…an Apple!

Good job!
