Chelsea Clinton, Villain
22 Jul
Guess who’s not excited about Chelsea Clinton’s upcoming wedding in the charming, wealthy region of Rhinebeck, on the Hudson River, on July 31st? Emn Haddad-Friedman. She’s a teacher from Brooklyn who’s been planning her wedding for the past two years – and as it happens, it’s set to take place in Rhinebeck on the very same day of Ms. Clinton’s nuptials. Her single mother, apparently, has worked tirelessly to plan and pay for the wedding.
Haddad-Friedman is stressed. The traffic, secret security and paparazzi generated by Chelsea’s 500-guest wedding is going to be a nightmare for Haddad-Friedman’s guests, and plus, it’s never nice to be overshadowed by a former First Daughter on your big day. “I know she’s not doing it on purpose,” Haddad-Friedman told Yahoo! “But Chelsea Clinton has taken what was supposed to be a special day for me and turned it into hell.”
To help prevent this from happening to other brides in the future, here’s my advice:
1) Don’t plan a massive wedding for two years.
2) Don’t allow your single mother to work her butt off to pay for the whole wedding.
3) Don’t get married in the vicinity of mansions and other large estates that may be attractive to high-profile people.
4) Don’t whine about how Chelsea Clinton has got event planners and you’ve just got your mom.
5) Don’t talk to Yahoo! You’ll only look like fool.
